General Landry: Sexual abuse of children is disturbing and disheartening; and my office and I will do all we legally can to end it. We will not stop or slow down in our efforts to arrest child predators and help rescue their victims.
General Landry: My office and I do all we legally can to protect the innocence and safety of our State’s children. We are committed to finding child predators, arresting them, and bringing them to justice.
General Landry: Our Cyber Crimes Unit works tirelessly to investigate and arrest criminals engaging in child exploitation. We will not cease in our efforts to apprehend those producing, possessing, or distributing pictures and videos of children being violated.
General Landry: It is unimaginable that people would violate children’s innocence by spreading child pornography. Every time an image or video is shared, the child is re-victimized; so our office is working tirelessly with our law enforcement partners to find and expose child predators.
General Landry: I thank the Governor for putting his faith in our office’s leadership on this issue. We will work hard to hold drug companies accountable for contributing to the opioid abuse, misuse, and addiction that have destroyed so many Louisiana families.
Chief Deputy Stiles: Judge Polster's interest in resolving this issue globally is commendable. The opioid epidemic is a complex issue that Attorney General Jeff Landry has attacked from multiple fronts and will continue to do so moving forward.
General Landry: My office will continue to use our arrest authority to apprehend those accused of exploiting children. We will do all we legally can to arrest alleged child predators, anytime and anywhere.
General Landry: As your Attorney General, I am committed to making Louisiana a safer place for our families. Taking a moment to learn about these recalled child products can help ensure your child’s safety and the well-being of all our State’s children.
